10 Questions with Markus Lead Singer/Guitarist of MISS CRAZY for Josephbrewterphotography.com

Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions! Alright, here it goes...

Q. You are one of the hardest working musicians I have seen lately--last one to leave--what is it that drives you on when you are exhausted on the road? What thought keeps you going every night?

A. I think it is the fact that I am not one of those people or musicians who don't do this for the money. I love playing Hard Rock like Miss Crazy plays. When people want to meet us and want autographes..It says alot to me and means more than money..you can't buy those looks on the faces of those fans. I will always be greatfull and humble. I love touring and playing in concert. Being myself at it's best.

Q. Did you guys out-rock Buckcherry at Cardinal Stadium or what? Haha! I wish I could have been there for that one! You deserve a big stage--you have a big sound!

A. I'm not saying anyone was better. Buckcherry Rocked! We Rocked..They have a bit more push as of late..But they have been around for 12 years..Miss Crazy barely 2 years. That will change! I know we made a big impact on the people who saw us at that show. Plus Buckcherry now knows what we got going on..We made friends!

Q. I know Miss Crazy is a relatively young band...what were you up to musically before Miss Crazy?

A. Singing in the shower..Standing in front of the mirror in my room thinking how..One day i'm going to Rock and show all my friends back home in Canada what I can do!! oh..and alot of X-Box and sports..I love Football, Baseball, Hockey..Go Sharks!!

Q. It seems you are filling a niche in rock that is pretty small now these days, but for those willing to look, there are still some great metal bands in the 80's arena vein. Any particular bands you would recommend to fans of your genre?

A. Oh yes! AC/DC, Def Leppard, KISS, Van Halen, Kix, Cinderella. The bands like those bands are why I'm here doing this interview with you brother!

Q. I'm sure this is a loaded question, but what is the absolute funniest thing you have ever seen happen on stage while you were playing? Anything bizarre?

A. Umm guys pretty much falling in love with kim in every city we play..Or guys getting mad because the girl they're with is giving me the look. You that one that says..If I were here alone, I would **** You look.

Q. I know you have said that you and Kim work together with the song writing, which is a passion for both of you. How long have you two known each other and what's the story behind how the two great minds first met?

A. Oh man I was in my room trying to think of a band to start and when I thought of Miss Crazy I needed the perfect person to fit that role..So God had her fall from the sky and smash through my ceiling into my arms and I have never been the same. See what happends when you pray kids!

Q. The greatest show you have ever seen...is there one particular concert that just inspired you? One band who just makes you want to go out and rock?

A. KISS..I saw them 3 nights at The LA Forum when they reunited..It made me understand what it was really all about. AC/DC on video. I knew they had the power of Rock! I will say this! Miss Crazy has everything both those bands have..But those bands never had a Kim Racer!! Watch out!!

Q. Your band is very image oriented, with the makeup and all--what was it that drew you to that style and what does the image do for the music in your opinion?

A. It gives us seperation and mystic. We want to make people look at us and go...What the ****!!! Then see that we are really a kick ass Arena Rock band with killer songs..and we can play with the big boys!! The kids need to be reached earley..and they love it!

Q. Last good book you read?

A. Pet Semetary by Stephen King..Man that was good!!

Q. You guys are knocking down the doors with your music, and I appreciate you taking time to deal with my inquisition. On a final note, is there a driving force behind your desire to share your thoughts with the world through music? A faith, a belief, or a message you want to send out?

A. Kim Racer!! I also know that life is not an easy road..We all know that. I will not compromise what I am..or what I want to do for a big job with big money or anything that is something that makes me miserable. Life has it's ups and downs..But Miss Crazy is my choice and it drives me to the next city to Rock for anyone who wants us!! God Bless!!
